I'm currently a graduate student at SUN group, Tsinghua
University. I've done some investigation and survey about
mobile sensor applications. Thus I know a thing or two about
how common sensor applications (e.g. pedometer) work, how
to extract information from raw sensor data and what kind of
information can be inferred from sensor data and what
cannot.
My research interest also includes Network Measurement and
Backscatter Networks. Currently I'm writing my graduations
thesis about backscatter link measurement.
The research paper I'm writing is about link quality measurement of backscatter networks. Backscatter network has gained much attention in the research area since its energy efficiency and low maintenance cost. But we actually know little about backscatter links. How far can backscatter signal travel? Is it asymmetric? Does it have any particular topology constraint? Is there a metric that could tell us about the link quality in real time? Now I'm doing some investigation and experiments trying to answer these questions
